Phoebe is committed to establishing a leading, global cannabis brand that is the trusted partner on the journey to calm. Having recruited a diverse group of cannabis and consumer packaged goods experts throughout the country, she is working to redefine what a stereotypical successful cannabis brand looks like. Phoebe is creating Goddess Growers as a best-in-class template for cannabis consumer packaged goods that make women purchasers feel truly understood.

She has served the Illinois cannabis community through her service as a member of Chicago NORML, Illinois Women in Cannabis, Arcview Women’s Investor Network, and the University of Chicago Women’s Board, and holds certification in food protection management. She began her career in investment management, spending time on both the sell side and the buy side with Morgan Stanley and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, respectively followed by a decade as an antique furniture dealer. Phoebe has a B.A. in Economics and French from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three little girls.

Born and raised in Ohio, Mary is an independent marketing and communications strategy consultant. She taught in the Marketing Department at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, since 1995. Professor Pearlman taught Marketing and Advertising Strategy at the MBA level for over 25 years and now teaches in the Executive Education Department. Prior to joining the Kellogg faculty, Pearlman worked at Kraft Foods in marketing and strategy for approximately 10 years.

Mary earned her MBA from Kellogg, raised her three children in Wilmette, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) and currently lives in Jackson, Wyoming with her husband.

McKensie Kahnweiler

How McKensie Finds Her Calm: A calm moment for me is when I can finally shut off my brain- typically when I am cooking at night, doing something active, or hanging on the couch after 9 pm.

McKensie is a Co-Founder of SESH and the COO, running the daily operations of the business. She got her start in cannabis as a Retail Operations Manager with GTI in 2019 where she was able to combine her personal passion for cannabis as her profession. Prior to cannabis, McKensie had a big operations background from running concessions at Wrigley Field for 10 years and opening multiple entertainment venues across the country for food and beverage.
